The course features a mix of long par 3s and 4s, with water hazards adding strategic depth. While the greens are well-maintained, they are slower than average, and some fairways are brown and in need of TLC. The facilities, including the clubhouse and pro shop, are excellent. With its beautiful setting and environmental focus, Shoreline is a good choice for golfers in the Bay Area.

I would definitely choose Shoreline over Baylands, as you pay 3 times less with similar but better experiences here in Shoreline. And I would definitely recommend to play here in the afternoon, the endless plain with the shoreline, and the 🌇 sunset, you're relaxed 😌.

There is a golf course right behind the Google campus. Hit 100 golf balls on the golf range. Overall, the atmosphere is nice and quiet. The price of 100 golf balls is $17. As you can see in the photo, the range is shorter and smaller than other golf courses. And there are telegraph poles around the golf course. If you take the time to play a round of golf, be careful.

Course is a decent layout (Robert Trent Jones, Jr design), but the condition of the course is not great. The green speed is decent. The wind blows fierce in the afternoon. Can play quite long if playing from the black tees and the wind is up. Par 3s are very long and difficult from the black tees. Green fee prices are good, but it does get a lot of play. Practice putting greens and chipping greens are good. The restaurant and outdoor seating is nice place to have lunch or dinner when the weather is nice. Range balls are expensive and priced higher than any municipal golf course in the area. They raised the price of range balls a few times in last year after they redid the range. However, the range remodel was not very good. It looks almost identical to what it was before and is going to look similar in a couple of years. Range balls are quite old. In my opinion, they should have just replaced all the range balls and mats more than the range. The new mats are decent. The practice putting greens are pretty good. I mainly just go there because it is close to my house and is opposite of rush hour traffic. Funny pic. Some driving inside the golf course area. Super strange.

We played the day after Thanksgiving and unfortunately, there was 1 hour delay due to morning frost. We were able to finish our round but it was dark and we rushed all our shots for the last 3 holes. I'm giving 1 star not because of the delay, but it was how the "Pro" shop handled the delay. There was a line checking in due to a disagreement that took over 15 minutes to resolve by the "Pro" shop with the group already in the front. When we got to the front, thats when we found out about the frost delay. There were 2 folks behind the counter and a third one pacing around the shop. None of them said anything about the delay while we were waiting in line until we got to the front. This will apply more for Golfnow... i just want to note that when i booked, the fee included a cart. but my confirmation email showed walking rate. I have no proof of this but it needs to said and get it out of my chest. So we paid the full rate, the starter was fantastic and gave us a nice send off to play 18 holes. The overall pace was good. The "Pro" shop failed to mention two holes were under repair so there was temporary green. The rest of the greens were decent. The fairways were horrible as there were a lot of gopher holes (ive played here before pre-pandemic but I dont recall seeing this many holes). The overall shape of the course has certainly degraded. One spotlight was their chipping/putting/and driving range. 11 duckets for a small bucket... It will be a good while before I come back to Shoreline.
